Fellowshipping
To fellowship means literally “to commune”. We commune with God when we join together to celebrate the Lord’s Supper, as well as in our daily lives. As a part of God’s family, we enourage, help, assist, and interact with each other, all of which refeshes. Repentance (turning lives around) and forgiveness is the essence of how we live, given by God’s grace and mercy.
Believers are both eternally united in Christ and eternally united to one another. Therefore, we love and value our brothers and sisters in Christ. God by the Holy Spirit transforms and sanctifies His people. We believe the gospel is the power of God for salvation and for sanctification. As we understand our own need for the grace of God and salvation in Jesus Christ, we are better able to extend that love and grace in our relationships to one another.
We seek to foster community among believers through various group-based ministries such as Bible studies, small group ministries, service groups and prayer fellowships. We desire to see all members assimilated into the life of the church using their gifts and talents to the glory of God. We seek to be intentional in forming relationships in order to minister to one another and encourage growth in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
