Worshipping
Worship is to exalt and praise. It is upbeat and joyous at times; contemplative at others. King David wrote: I lift my eyes up to the hills, where does my help come from? It comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth…” Seeing God as the One who is our Creator in the expansiveness of all that is humbles us to worship.
- A biblically based message with direct application to the lives of those in attendance, which is the central aspect of each worship service.
- Music, incorporating both traditional hymns and contemporary songs.
-
Corporate and individual prayer.
-
Confession of sin and assurance of pardon in Christ.
-
An atmosphere that is welcoming and accepting to all who attend.
Currently we come together to worship on Sunday mornings at 10:30 AM. The service is about Christ’s redemption.
Worship is central to everything we do. All other areas of ministry flow from our worship of the living God.
From the Reformation, the Biblical concept of worship was presented as all of life, rather than just the times we come together as a group. Redeemer encourages all to realize this principle.
