Staff

Pastor: Rev. Ronald D. Standiford, MAR, MDiv., was trained at Westminster Seminary, Philadelphia, PA, having previously received a BA in Political Science from American University, School of Government and Public Administration.   Married to Darby; and they have 2 daughters.

Before going to seminary, he was pursuing a career in law, and was a student at night while clerking for a firm during the day. He has been on and led foreign missions trips, as well as, preaching and doing Bible studies in Helping Up Mission, Men’s Division; Maryland House of Correction at Jessup; and currently at Edenwald Retirement Community and Presbyterian Home of MD. He is a certified Evangelism Explosion trainer, and is now a trainer and telephone counsellor with the Billy Graham Telephone Ministry. He has served on the Boards of Beachmont Ministries, Inc. as member and  President; Pocket Testament League of Baltimore; Youth Ministries, Inc.; Presbyterian Home of MD; Gunpowder Conservancy; Baltimore County Historical Society; and Maryland Historical Society Program Committee. Ron is now active on the Board of Redeemer Classical Christian School, which he helped found. At Redeemer, he has taught Latin, Greek, Spanish, Rhetoric, some Bible classes, and Apologetics, and now does chapel services for students.  He and Darby reside in the family home on the property. Darby has served as Presbytery Missions Chair, and President of the Presbytery Women in the Church, and enjoys sharing hospitality in their home.  She is a certified Children’s Etiquette instructor. They together continue the Christian philanthropic work begun by his family on what was a family farm.

Most importantly, Ron understands the forgiving grace of God in his life and has found fulfillment and happiness in a life of change in thinking and doing with His Savior and friend, Jesus.

Counsellor, Redeemer Biblical Counselling: Mrs. Pam Prigel, Masters In Biblical Counselling from Westminster Seminary. Married to Bobby, with 3 children. Pam is involved as counsellor not only for the church and community, but for the students and families at Redeemer School. Pam leads seminars on topics, such as forgiveness, life priorites, anger, among others as she loves to speak about her relationship with her Savior as revealed in Scripture.

Pam will be teaching an online Biblical Counselling class through Christian Counselling and Educational Foundation of Philadelphia, PA.

Youth leaders: Travis and Leah Murray, Travis has received a  BA in Biblical Studies from Wingate University in 2009, and is reading constantly the reformers to renew his mind. He is employed with First Financial Federal Credit Union. He has led camps with the Ripken Baseball Organization as an Operations Coordinator, and does tutuor young baseball enthusiasts.  He  loves his Savior, his wife, his family,and baseball, having played it most of his life, and can pitch over 90 MPH. Leah has received a BS in Communications with a minor in Art, also from Wingate (where they met). She works in Development with Johns Hopkins assisting in raising money for Medical Research. They have a passion for enjoying the kids, playing games with them, and leading them in the study of God’s Word to know Jesus, and the power of His resurrection.

Musicians:

 Richard Smith, pianist

    A child prodigy, Dick gave his first public piano recital at age 9. He won a scholarship to Peabody Conservatory of Music, and was the organist for the Stanton Theatre while a student. He plays at many private and public gatherings with a wide variety of musical styles. He puts emotion and creativity into his playing. As one who has trusted in Jesus, he loves to share the giftedness that God has given him with others. Dick is also widely known as an expert theatre organist traveling around the country giving performances. He is also an active piano technician.

Ed Boemmel, guitar

   Whether at a praise time for prayer or accompanying on Sunday morning, Ed is always eager and enthusiastically plays, with thankfulness to His Lord, having great ability to support our singing. He weaves in contemporary songs with hymns to enhance our worship-always looking for a depth of meaning in words. Ed is married to Denise, with 2 daughters. We are always looking for musicians and vocalists God has gifted to join in to enhance our worship and adoration of our great God. If you are looking for a place to use your talents, come see us.
